14. Using Bomgar

Bomgar is an application that we use as a business to gain remote access and screen share with our practices. Almost all of our clients should be familiar with how it works as it's regularly used in our on boarding process, support teams and everyone else in the business. It's quite commonly referred to as 'dialling in'.
Remoting in
Depending on the practice management system, there is a couple of different ways you can ask the client to remote you into their computer. Exact:Help at the top > Remote support > will open a web page > choose your number / name in the list Oasis:Help in the bottom right > Enable remote access > Will open a web page > choose your number / name in the list Other: open up a webpage and go to https://remote.soeidental.com/ > Choose your number
How to present the screen
Once you are remoted into the customer, you do have the option to view their screen, or to present your own. If you do not have the Show my Screen button you may need to contact the Bomgar administrator to give you permission to this function.
Showing cursor etc
Your mouse may not always show to the customer, so you may help using the tools in the top left:

Presentations in public listing
If you have a number of people joining you for a meeting, you may also setup a presentation so that they may all join to view your screen. This is useful for practices where multiple stakeholders may not be at the same location at the same time.

From there you can ask people to navigate to the usual remote access website. There are also other ways you can ask the attendees to join, access key, show on the public list or with an invitation.
