Inactivating the Deleted ADA Codes

There are 9 item codes being deleted by the ADA. Follow these steps on how to mark these codes as ‘inactive’ in your EXACT database:

A small handful of Government Payors may continue to use one or more of these 9 codes for a while. We suggest inactivating the codes the ADA has deleted, and if you find that you need to use it down the track, they can easily be re-activated.

Go to Configure > Services

Search for an item Code

Click the checkbox to remove the tick, then close the Service list. There is no need to click a Save button
(If there is no tick, the item code is already inactive)
