Adding Appointments to the Short Notice List

Short Notice List allows practices to add patients to a list where they can then have their appointment moved forward if an sooner date becomes available.

There are several ways patients can get added to the list. You can add any appointment to the list by;

  1. Right-click the appointment and select Add to short notice list:

     

  2. To confirm, check the list by clicking on the Short Notice List icon or looking at the Short Notice List tab.

You can add a patient appointment from the Cancels tab as well:

IMPORTANT: Family Cancellations do not currently have this option, and this option only appears if the Cancellation is within the configured period for "Remove cancelled and FTA appointments if they are not rebooked within [n] weeks".

  1. Right-click the Cancel appointment and select Add to short notice list:

     

  2. To confirm, check the list by clicking on the Short Notice List icon or looking at the Short Notice List tab.
