Locking a Tablet to the Clinipad App

To lock down an Apple iPad Device

  1. For iOS 6 and above, in Settings > General > Accessibility, Enable Guided Access.

    1. Set a passcode

  2. In Settings > General > Auto-Lock, turn this setting up to max (15 minutes/Never).

  3. In Settings > General > Keyboard > Turn off Auto-Correction and Check Spelling.

  4. Open the Clinipad SOEI App on the iPad and triple press the home button and tap start

The Clinipad app is now locked on the screen for the iPad. To remove this, triple press the home button, enter the passcode that was set up in step 2 and tap end. You will now be able to close the Clinipad App as normal.
