1. Log into EXACT as an Administrator user then go to File, Payors and select the active NHS payor you will be using for eDental claims.

   

2. Click Transmit Setup.

   

3. Choose the Prepare for eDental option and click Next.

4. EXACT will advise if any claims are still awaiting transmission but this can usually be skipped as it relates to old EDI claims that can no longer be claimed.

5. If any first or last names are missing in the Providers file then EXACT will advise you to fill this in. Then click Finish

6. Click Transmit Setup again.

7. Choose the eDental option and click Next.

8. Click Next> to display the Transmission Setup - Prerequisites screen.

   This is a checklist for your convenience. It does not verify anything in software; it simply points out what you need to have completed.

   Check the checkboxes to confirm that you have completed all of the prerequisites and then click Next>.

   You will see an error message if you attempt to continue without checking all:

9. In the Transmission Setup - eDental Information window, enter your Site Number (If you do not know your Site number please contact Practitioner Services):

   

10. Click the Finish button.
