Configure > Patient Payments
An 'Email Receipt' and an 'Email Statement' options were added to the receipt printing preferences in User Settings:
If the user has an email address, the email will be sent without prompting the user
If the patient doesn't have an email address, the user will be prompted to print instead
If the patient doesn't have an email address or email isn't configured for the practice, the print option will be ticked instead
The default email template has been beautified:
A new Quick Services configuration button was added to the ‘Edit Appointment’ window. From the ‘Manage Appointment Booking Service’ List window. Users can now:Status colour Green title NEW FEATURE Create new Quick Services

Both the Patient Schedule and the NHS Claimed Versus Disputed Report now include new patient UDAs in their calculations.Status colour Green title IMPROVEMENT
Improvements to the Forgot Password feature:Status colour Green title IMPROVEMENT Users who entered the practice email address, or an email address shared with another user ,as their contact email, cannot use the password reset functionality. Users should chose an email address that is personal to them as their contact email.
The password reset email is hidden from EXACT's Outbox and Sent tabs.
The password reset window displays a censored version of the destination email address to assist users who cannot remember the contact email that they entered.
When refreshing a patient list, the existing patient list name is now used as the default list name.Status colour Green title IMPROVEMENT
Three new stock item buttons (Add, Edit and Remove) were added to the ‘Patient Payment’ window, so stock items can be managed from the payment window directly.Status colour Green title NEW FEATURE
The printing and emailing process in ‘Payment Confirmation’ was streamlined. A new, default Payment Confirmation email template has been added to EXACT, and the email option is now checked by default if a patient has an email address enabled. A ‘Forgot Password?' link is now available on the login screen for all EXACT users.Status colour Green title NEW FEATURE Users who have entered an email address into their user record will be emailed a 6-digit code that will allow them to log in to EXACT and change their password.
Users who don’t have an email address will be advised to talk to their practice administrator to reset their password, and reminded that they can add an email email address for use next time.
