  • Issue resolved Fix for an issue with the KPI Report where one practice reported an unexpectedly high Production Per Hour figure for one provider. Base charting is now excluded from KPI Report calculations.

  • Issue resolved NHS Scotland: Fix for an issue where multiple instances of the ‘Recementing of a Resin Retained Bridge’ (D018) service were being sent as a combined instance in the claim file, rather than as separate instances.

  • IMPROVEMENT Reinstated the two most recent Care Manager changes that were reverted in v25.181:

    • The Reopen button has been re-added.

    • The 'Assigned To' filter section separates out inactive providers into their own subsection instead of listing them amongst the active providers.

  • IMPROVEMENT Added 6 treatment reasons to the GP17 TC window for COTs with an acceptance date on or after 1st Nov 2025:

    • ST - Sensitivity

    • TP - Temporary filling / dressing

    • PE - Pulpitis / extirpation

    • PB - Periapical abscess

  • PERFORMANCE Reverted the two most recent Care Manager changes as part of an investigation into performance issues on a specific site.

  • IMPROVEMENT NHS Northern Ireland: Reverted a capitation services change introduced in v24.122. Fees are now charged for all items of treatment provided to children under 18 where necessitated by trauma.

  • Issue resolved Fix for a bug where contact documents couldn’t be opened in cases where a leading whitespace in the filename was automatically trimmed by Windows.

  • Issue resolved Fixes for the following issues with the Receipt Analysis report:

    • Allocated amounts should now use the treatment type from the allocated invoice instead of defaulting to private.

    • Payor adjustments should now be grouped under the associated payor total instead of the private treatment summary total.

    • NHS adjustments should no longer show the payor as unknown.

    • Negative adjustments should now show in the treatment type summary.

  • Issue resolved Fix for an issue where verification emails for password resets couldn’t be sent if email wasn’t configured or wasn’t working. 

  • Issue resolved Fix for an issue where duplicate follow up emails or SMS were sent every ten minutes to a single patient in certain scenarios.

  • IMPROVEMENT A new ‘Sent/Received date’ column was added to the Contacts tab. The ‘Sent/Received date’ is fixed and can’t be changed. The date in the Date column can be edited via the info button to reflect when the item was filed or last actioned.

Issues Resolved

  • Issue resolved Fix for an issue where the Video and Xray tabs were only showing the first saved image and users were unable to import additional images or capture video. Upgrading to this version should restore lost images.

  • IMPROVEMENT A Dashboard icon was added to the Workspace, and a Dashboard text option to the Exact File menu. When clicked/selected it brings the dashboard screen to the front.

  • IMPROVEMENT NHS England, Wales & IOM - The Ortho date format was changed to use the date of referral and the date of fitting instead of claim codes, according to the changes outlined in CCN79.

  • IMPROVEMENT NHS England, Wales & IOM - New FP17 data set categories have been made available as requested by the NHS:

    • Soft Tissue Surgery

    • Non Lab Made Appliance Or Splint

    • Lab Made Splint

    • Crown Refix With Post Core Retention

    • Obturator

    • The following new services have been created to represent the new categories.

      • SPLINT-CHAIR - Non-Laboratory Made Appliance/Splint

      • SPLINT-LAB - Laboratory Made Splint

      • REF-POSTCORECRN - Crown Refix with Post/Core Retention

    • The following existing services have been modified to reflect the new categories and undated banding.

      • SOFT and SOFT% which now uses Soft tissue surgery dataset category and has been changed from Band 3 to Band 2

      • OBT-DN which now uses Obturator dataset category and has been set to Band 3

  • Issue resolved Fix for an issue where database upgrades would fail and leave the database in a corrupted state if xray.image.path is set to a path that’s inaccessible to the server.

  • Issue resolved Fix for a bug where Short Notice List would incorrectly send a ‘Gap Gone’ SMS when the appointment was booked from the room column of the appointment book.

  • IMPROVEMENT A prompt was added to the payor adjustment workflow asking users whether they wish to automatically allocate the adjustment. Selecting 'Yes' will allocate the adjustment to the oldest open credit amount. Selecting 'No' will leave the adjustment unallocated.

  • SECURITY Cloud authentication has now been enabled by default. All existing users that don’t already have it enabled will be prompted to create a new, secure password when logging in to EXACT for the first time after a practice has upgraded to this version.

  • IMPROVEMENT A provider column was added to the Debtors List report to highlight accounts where there is a mixed provider balance. The ‘Home phone’ and ‘Work phone’ columns were replaced by a ‘Mobile column’ to make space for the new Provider column.

  • Issue resolved Fix for an issue where emailing prescriptions or dispensary items wasn’t updating the prescription record.

  • Issue resolved Fix for an issue where the processing of incoming emails would error if the emails contained attachments with names that matched reserved names in Windows.

  • FEATURE REMOVED The online booking colour scheme picker was removed from the Practice Information screen.

  • IMPROVEMENT Updated the text of the recall monthly view filter from ‘Who are due for one of these recall types’ to 'For one of these recall types’ for clarity.

  • IMPROVEMENT NHS Northern Ireland: The warning message that appears when either H&C or CHI numbers are missing for a patient at TC time is now mandatory. Users cannot process the claim until one of these details has been entered for the patient.

  • IMPROVEMENT We now display a warning dialog when a user ticks the checkbox to inactivate a provider. The dialog encourages the user to try and use the new ‘Provider is Leaving’ feature. Note this is tied to a new setting provider.inactive checkbox warning.enabled, which is enabled by default.

  • ISSUE RESOLVED Added country context to the remote support launcher, ensuring the region is set correctly at launch. Also removed the auto launch when only one support agent is available in the region.

  • Issue resolved Patient List: Fix for an issue when using the birthday query where if the From Date (Day/Month) was greater than the To Date (Day/Month) some patients who met the criteria would be excluded from the list.

  • Issue resolved Fix for an issue where completed treatments that were voided were being incorrectly moved to the Misc tab.
