Management of COVID-19 records in EXACT [NZ]

The New Zealand Dental Council (NZDC) has recently released guidelines for managing patient care during the COVID-19 pandemic.  Click this link to open the NZDC Guidelines.

We recommend you use EXACT to record the following for each patient appointment:

  • The results of COVID-19 screening questions 

  • The patient's COVID-19 risk status

COVID Screening Questions

Your patients can complete the COVID-19 screening questions using three different methods:

  1. Online using a feature called the Patient Portal 

  2. In response to an automated appointment reminder email 

  3. Verbally as part of a screening call
