The Appointment Book Setup Wizard enables you to make changes to the appointment book so it best meets your needs. This includes choosing which tabs appear on the activity bar.

To use the Wizard, open the appointment book, and click the ‘spanner icon’ in the bottom right-hand corner:

The wizard dialog will then guide you through the steps to take to make changes to the appointment book.

In the following example, we are going to add a Departures tab to the activity bar.

To set up the Appointment book by means of the Wizard

  1. Click the checkbox next to Select tabs for your activity bar :

    (Click the button at any time to exit)

    Click the 'Next' button button.

  2. The next window ('Selection of tabs for your activity bar...') is merely advisory:

    In this instance, note the message (extract shown above) and click the 'Next' button button again.

  3. In the “Available Tabs” column, highlight the Departures item, and click the 'Move right' button button to move it to the “Selected Tabs” column.

  4. If the Departures item is not in the position you want it to be in, highlight any of the items in the “Selected Tabs” column then use the buttons to move the items to where you want them to be positioned.
  5. When you have finished setting up the activity bar tabs as you want them, click the 'Finish' button button.
    Note that the activity bar changes apply to the current logged-in user only, and you will need to go to “User Names” in the Configure menu to configure tabs for other users
