Can I find patients by given name?

Oasis offers a range of search methods for finding patients.

If you want to find a patient using their given name, click the Find option and type “,john” (comma John) and click search. All patients with a given name of John will be listed.

This depends on your primary search being set to Surname, Givenname. You can check this by selecting Preferences, My Money, Find Patients, then identifying your workstation in the list (it will be blue) and making sure Field #1 “Default Patient find mode” is set to “3”.
