OASiS Duplicate/Invalid Login detected
When restoring an OASiS Database, you may be presented with this message, stating that a
”Duplicate/Invalid Login detected for User XXXX (PC Name)” and be prevented from logging in:
As per the message, the list of Users/Computers need to be checked/fixed up…
If the list of logged in Users is not presented, you can check Workstation details outside of OASiS, by using UTILS.

Run Utils.exe from the OASiS Install folder, then click the Workstation Menu item - then
Identification/Management
NOTE: the master password will be required…
Check List of Workstations/Users/No’s - If any Duplicates appear - change the current PC’s entry to a Higher number than the current list.
HOW TO CHANGE A WORKSTATION NUMBER:
Open Oasis.ini from the OASiS Install folder, Change the Workstation Number to a higher number which is not used/duplicated already.
It’s probably a good idea to restart MIMER, which can be done either within Windows via services.msc or by using mimadmin.exe

Utils - View Workstation Records:
The following screen will appear, where you can select and delete Workstation records - which is fine, as long as you are doing so on your local PC copy of the Db.
After selecting Workstations to delete, simply click the ‘Remove Selected Workstation Records’ button:
