OASiS v12 - What’s New

Online Booking enables new/existing patients to book their appointments online 24/7, directly to OASiS .
With integration into your OASiS Appointment book & instant appointment confirmation sent direct to patients, Online Booking will help you attract new patients & also works with Recall Automation - allowing existing patients to easily book in their next appointment online.

Patient Exit Workflow This feature formalizes the completion of patient-related tasks at reception.
From ensuring invoices and payments are made, recalls have been processed, future appointments have been booked, to collecting important contact information. The Patient Exit Workflow settings are User specific & outstanding actions can be deferred to the Task Manager, if required.

Reputation Management Reputation is important. This OASiS feature allows you to promote your reputation on the internet. Patients can fill out a survey at the practice, or on-line after their visit in response to an email sent by the practice. Their comments and reviews are then presented on the internet in ways that promote the practice.

Recall Automation Automatically send out patient recalls and reminders via OASiS, which removes the need to manually send out recalls. Designed to help you achieve optimum recall effectiveness, which is critical to business performance and success, whilst saving time and reducing administration for your reception team.

Auto Upgrades A dynamic upgrade process means that your OASiS database server will automatically upgrade any workstations accessing the OASiS database. Hence you can be sure that you are always getting the most out of your software and are up-to-date on the latest version of OASiS.

EasyPost There’s nothing more time-consuming than printing, folding and enveloping letters, only to have to stick stamps on them. Oasis v12 has EasyPost, where recall letters can be generated electronically & sent to a mailing house for processing, all at a competitive cost. EasyPost is a natural fit with Recall Automation.

Stock Control Module OASiS v12 has a Stock Control Module. This module allows you to enter and monitor retail stock use in the practice, as well as consumables. The Stock Control module integrates with the barcode module to allow the sale of stock at reception via a barcode reader, within the invoice screen.

Configuration enhancements OASiS v12 has three new “wizards” to help you set up Onine Booking, Recall Automation and EasyPost.

Centralised Workstation Control OASiS v12 also permits you to control workstation settings centrally from within the database. In Version 8.3, OASiS used “.ini” files to enter workstation settings. This meant you had to have access to each workstation in order to make changes to OASiS configuration.
In OASiS v12, the majority of workstation settings are now stored within the database and can be manipulated from a single location.

Dynamic Schema Updates OASiS v8.3 was dependent on “patches” to apply database schema changes. OASiS v12 automatically checks the database schema each time you upgrade & applies the schema changes as part of the upgrade process. This ensures you always have the correct database structure for the version of OASiS that you are using. NB: There is a warning if the schema update is going to take some time to complete. This allows the practice to apply the upgrade at a time that is convenient to you.

Third-Party Integration OASiS v8.3 is no longer being developed, meaning any changes to Third-Party Links will only be provided in the latest version of OASiS.
