Dental Referrals Certificate Update Oct 2021
Dental Referrals updated their certificates on the 01/10/2021 - as a result any customer with Dental Referrals would be left unable to launch / click the Dental Referrals button in EXACT - with nothing happening.
If you have used the new Dental Referrals Installer as documented https://soeidental.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/PHS/pages/900661595 you will not need to follow the below instructions. The new installer includes these certificates but will require the API key being re-entered.
This will need to be completed on each computer using Dental Referrals.
On the workstation go to C:\DReferrals and note down the current file, either “ca-bundle.crt” or “curl-ca-bundle.crt”
Depending on what file is shown, download the below corresponding file
You can download the certificate by clicking the above thumbnail or by clicking the URL below

This should prompt your browser to download the file. Once downloaded, go and find the file
Locate the file in your Downloads Folder and copy it.
Once copied, Navigate to C:\DReferrals and paste the file, accept any prompts or warnings and replace / overwrite the existing file.
You do not need to log out of EXACT for this to start working.
Dental Referrals should now launch
Please repeat these steps for each computer using Dental Referrals.
