Sending Booking Notifications Emails to Providers

Providers may find it useful to be notified when an appointment has been booked so they can make sure they are available and keep track of appointments

To configure EXACT to send booking-notification Emails to Providers

Select File > Providers to open the Provider File.

Use the selectors to select a Provider and then select the Appointments tab

Configuration is by means of the Email appointments template box and the checkbox Only send an Email if it changes the booked time.

Select from the three possible configurations:

Don't send notifications - Leave the Email appointments template field blank

Send all appointment emails to the Provider - Select an email template in the Email appointments field and leave the Only send an email if it changes the next booked time checkbox unticked.

Send appointment emails if an appointment in advance on the next appointment - Select an email template in the Email appointments field and tick the Only send an email if it changes the next booked time checkbox.

Select the Save button at the top of the screen (above the tabs).
