Getting Ready for your Training Sessions
We are very excited to start training your team soon!
To ensure that your team has the best training experience possible with us, we have gathered some helpful tips for you.
How we invite you to the training sessions |
A few days before the training, you will receive an email invitation which will include the link you need to click on to join the training session. Depending on the size of your team, we recommend having 2 people per computer. (4 people maximum per computer). Your Training Consultant will call you before your training dates to check you have the training call link and to answer any questions you may have.
What you need to do before the training |
E-LEARNING | We recommended your team completes the recommended E-learning modules sent to yourself and your staff. The e-learning provides a great overview and starting point to build your user knowledge. If you have not been enrolled, let us know as soon as possible.
AUDIO | Prior the training day, please make sure to confirm you have an audio option so your team will be able to hear us during the training and ask questions. Some computers have mics and speakers installed. If not, ask your team to bring in a portable speaker and check they have a mic. We want to make sure your team can hear our call and ask questions for each computer which will be used for the training.
CHANGE CHAMPION | Do you have a fast learner in your team who is keen to adapt to the change? That person could become your “change champion”, someone who will provide extra help to their peers during your first few days of using the system! Please introduce your change champion to your Training Consultant.
During the Training Sessions |
During the training, make sure that you mute yourselves to avoid background noises. You are welcome to un-mute yourself at any time you wish to ask questions! Please turn on the answerphone and turn off your cell phones. Your team will get the most out of the sessions if they are not distracted by interruptions.
Please let your Training Consultant know if any of your Providers or Reception users are unable to attend all of the scheduled training sessions.
Support after your training sessions |
On your first day using our system – the “Go-Live day”, your friendly Training Consultant will be there to support you. Your Training Consultant will monitor each computer at your practice via a remote connection called Bomgar. Type http://remote.soeidental.com/ in your web search browser (on each computer) to connect to Bomgar. Click your Training Consultant’s name to send a connection invite.
During the Go-Live, your Training Consultant will be available to help. You will be able to ask any questions via the Bomgar chats and/or we can call you to help if needed.
We recommend you schedule 10-minute gaps for “knowledge check calls” for each Provider and Receptionist. A quick call in the morning, afternoon and at the end of the day will help our Training Consultants provide best practice guidance on the Go-Live day.
Support after the Go Live Day |
After your Go Live Day, our dedicated support team will be available when you need them. You can contact them via a Live Chat link on our Henry Schein One website or via phone. Your Training Consultant will confirm how you can connect to our support team.
